Last one was very solid but cmon? First was a slap and Stieg was off balance (and so was abraham :D) and second was nothing but a slap.. 2 shots that I posted were MUCH harder.

And I'm okay with abraham win but this last round makes me laugh. No one with brains can give that to abraham

It were hard right hands that landed on AA's gloves if you can't see that then I can't do anything for you.

I thought Stieglitz would win a decision. I'd never seen him gas before.
Being hit hard enough will take some wind from your sails.
I had it for Abraham. 115-113. He gave away the 12th...

    OK.

The cooler heads in here - the ones not shrieking like banshees that Stieglitz dominated the 12th because they wanted him to win (or wanted Abraham to lose, whatever) - all concede it was an extremely close round that could go either way, which is how I feel.

I happened to give it to Abraham for quality over quantity, but am not railing against those who flipped it the other way inverting those criteria.

To say it was dominant for either man is what's truly ":nut"

    114-114 :deal

    RD1: 10-9 Abraham
    RD2: 9-10 Stieglitz
    RD3: 9-10 Stieglitz
    RD4: 10-9 Abraham
    RD5: 10-9 Abraham
    RD6: 10-9 Abraham
    RD7: 10-9 Abraham
    RD8: 9-10 Stieglitz
    RD9: 9-10 Stieglitz
    RD10: 9-10 Stieglitz
    RD11: 10-9 Abraham
    RD12: 9-10 Stieglitz

Honestly, a couple points either way is more than fair; a lot of the rounds were close, and if you scored all the close rounds for either Robert or Arthur you could wind up with 116-112 for both.

Definitely not a dominant win for either fighter, nor was it a robbery. It was a close, good fight. :good

Just to clarify, what you quoted there referred specifically to the twelfth. Agree with everything you said. :good

I can see why there is a massive divide in the scoring on this one...
What is the right way of scoring a fight?

    • What is classed as a scoring punch is it when the head rocks back..
    • Is a combination of 3 punch's equal to 1 power punch
    • Is 1 head shot equal to a body shot
    • Does a fighter get the nod on a close round for being aggressive and coming forward.

How do you score a fight or should we all be scoring a boxing match the same, for a fight to be fair the judge's have to be consistant.. :think

It was razor thin in the end. I thought Stieglitz edged it because stupid ass AA sat in his shell the final round!

I'll admit I exploded when I saw that round for AA in your RBR, When he is in the corner getting slapped around 2:30 seconds of the round he can't be winning, And to be honest you tell me what " Quality shots " Abraham landed in RD 12, Because all throughout that round I was yelling " DO SOMETHING ABRAHAM :fire " as he lounged out in the corner.

toward the later part of the fight, I think AA started to get tired and wouldn't do **** for 2 minutes and then try to steal the last minute of the round. This did work for him in a few rounds, but Stieglitz adjusted to it and would school AA for the first 2 minutes and then tie him up for the rest of the round and move.

That's why I feel he won the last 2 rounds. AA just looked tired. I know punches landing on your gloves are blocked, but this isn't the amateurs. If one guy lands one clean punch after throwing 2 and the other guy lands 6 punches on your gloves and body, I'm giving it to the other guy.

I will have to check out this fight tonight. From being in so many RBR's, I know who typically scores the same as I do, and I see a couple on each side of this debate.
