    The 1940 census shows the Liston household residing in Smith Township, Cross Co., Arkansas and reports Charles's year of birth as 1930.

    That's pretty cool, his Wikipedia page says estimated 1928 or 1932... so I guess this fits!


    edit: who edited that Wiki page in the last 2 1/2 minutes?? hah

    I think you are misreading that. It says 1830.

    Whatever that name is on line 42, I'm pretty sure it has an "i" in it .... and then a gap and what looks like a "1".
    Strange way to spell CHARLES.

    What is the name above it (line 41) ?

    The conspiracy theory says that the fighter Sonny Liston was pretending to be a younger brother - that he claimed the identity of Charles Sonny Liston and he is actually older.

    So the conspiracy theory says that this is the identity of the person he assumed the identity of.

    Maybe it says "CHARLIS 1" but even that's not clear.

    Certainly doesn't say CHARLES.
