But JJM could also have fought PAC ( most probably beat him and raise his stock some more ), make more money than what he got from the John fight and say **** you to Arum.

All he had to do was accept the purse being offered to him at that time which was equal to pac's and bigger than what he got from the first fight.

I hope this ends up being in Mexico with Juan's family members as judges and Rafa as referee.

It was a marginally bigger purse from the first FOTY bout and Arum used Marquez and Beristain's mere request for further negotiations to move on to Morales. And the mere fact that it was comparable to what Pacquiao was being offered does not indicate it was a fair offer given how much Manny has been happy to be ripped off by promoters throughout his career.

just rerun the same old 24/7 stuff, the same dumb jimmy kimmel episodes and lets get this over as quick as possible and move on

  8. Floyd still has viable opponents.
does pac? dude is so desperate he was trying to fight Cotto at a catchweight again. typical Roach, Arum, and Manny. targeting fighters coming off losses.

    anything to duck floyd

I like this rematch for Juan's sake. I'm fine with it if Floyd uncharacteristically fights emmanroid coming off a loss and whoops his AZZ. I never thought beating emmanuel would help Floyd's legacy, resume, or whatever these groupies like to call it as much as everyone else did. Schooling an emmanuel coming off a loss won't make that much of a difference to me.

best case scenario emmanuel loses to Juan and loses value in Floyd's eyes. Floyd says nigg@ **** you and fights Sexy Sergio in the first half of next year instead of manny

Only thing this guarantees is, there won't be a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight.

Well, it was the biggest purse he could have received at that point in his career. And it was certainly fairer and considerably bigger than the one JMM eventually got from the John fight. He not only had to travel all the way to Indonesia, (probably) got robbed thereat and merely received less than 30k after tax. Compare this to the 750K purse he was offered for the aborted 2nd fight in Las Vegas. The win would have been guaranteed in my opinion since JMM really knows how to fight Manny.
