Prime Dempsey Vs Trevor Berbick, Can Dempsey Do It in 2?

The bigoted and many times racist attitudes on ESB astound me.....Every effort is made to denigrate the work of Dempsey, Marciano, Sullivan, Jeffries, Wlad & Vitali.....they clearly make up my top 6 ATG list and the efforts to which others blatantly leave them out of their top 10 and sometimes 15 screams of blatant reverse racism!

From the time Tyson was brutalized by Zouski, Tyson's ribs were hurt very badly in that fight! He then refused to face all white challengers untill both he and Mcneely were well past their primes, and even then only when public demand became so great he could no longer avoid this mess. Thank God that while he blatantly ducked Gerry Cooney, Michal Spinks at least had the morals and ethics to go against boxings anti white agenda and face the leader of the white murders row...all the while Tyson claims to be champ. Unfortunately Cooney in a loss, was still able to deliver enough punishment to rip the remainder of Michaels prime from him. Then when he (Spinks) is no longer a top notch but rather a faded champion Tyson picks up Cooney's scraps to win the Black title in a farce of a fight....And refused all subsequent white challengers,,,

Tyson vs dempsey...Tyson vs Willard???? Tyson was getting nowhere near a ring with a dangerous white contender...C'mon lets be real!

 

Francesco Damiani was blatantly ducked in his prime.
There was a lot of empty talk from the Tyson camp from 1987 onwards, and HUGE money on the table to fight Damiani in Rome but it always got pushed aside.

Damiani ended up having to fight for the inaugural WBO title against Johnny DuPlooy, another white fighter who Tyson never faced.

 

Thanks for the info....this is deplorable and disgraceful! Tyson must no longer a free pass....his legacy is tainted and top 15 might not even be warranted now that the truth is coming out!

Not another Tyson ducked white guy threads! You would think Tyson did something terrible to us personally! The climate of America just wouldn't allow Iron Mike to defends the title against a white guy! At his peak he was universally regarded as one of the best heavyweights ever and even though that was almost 30 years ago you revisionist can't change that! Nah!

 

Please don't try and tell us that the imagined threat of race riots that would have ripped the nation apart had we had a white champion are anything more than a blatant lie told by Don King to appease the masses! if he (tyson) wanted to be regarded as great he would have made those fights happen! There were no riots when Spinks bravely defended against the revered caucasian contender Gerry Cooney.....why was it so dangerous in your mind. And if not he could have clearly gone to South Africa and defended his belt from there! He was not interested in fighting the best and must be penalized accordingly!

the problem with tyson isnt a boxing one, its that he may be a ******.

tbh I believe him when he says he didnt do it, he says it with such conviction.... but the fact may be that he actually is and I am wrong, and thats one of the lowest forms of crime, so its easy to hate him IF he is guilty of it.

Finally. I've always held a grudge against Tyson for not facing DuPlooy. He had a chance to form a legacy, but he walked away from it and I find this intriguing.

As for pimp vs ******, I think there's a pretty clear line differentiating the two, and it's called consent.

Dempsey is one of the greatest fighters ever to live. Of course he destroys the lowly Berbick.
