No offense to the mighty Nay_Sayer, but I'm going to have to agree with Mayweather's description of the punch. I have a feeling he knows a little more about boxing than a keyboard warrior that fancies himself an Ancient Ginger Egyptian, maybe just a little.

They may not have known the term 'check hook' before, but everyone has seen that move in the past. Isn't 'check hook' a term originating from Michigan?

Most agree hook and cross are different punches. Orthodox but same principle. Its a harder punch for Southpaws to land because of the distance but not impossible, especially if your target is as open and close as Hatton was. There will be no thread not matter how much you beg, I'm sure its eating you up that you can't fish me like I do you so many times. Educating you on boxing is as hopeless as teaching a blind person sign language...****, the blind person would probably do better than you.
