Berbick was no ***** or bum........ He was only really waxed by Tyson...... Berbick from 1981 to 1986 was strong as a bull and owned a good beard.... Berbick's flaws were he could be out-boxed by a better boxer.... Berbick could brawl... Berbick was tuff as a dollar steak at a truck stop off the highway... The 188 to 192 pound Dempsey would be in for a real tussle......

But the trouble is it is still Trevor Berbick. I guess I just don't like his style against the hitters. He walks into them constantly and I think is similar to a Golata type that matches well against boxers but his wading in style is all wrong against big punchers.

But that Berbick had a way of winning fights he was dismissed in like Page and Ali and Thomas. He certainly did spring the upsets, didn't he? But it was never ever a tko, aside from the Tate fight.

Against Dempsey, I'm not sure he can win a decision and I'm not sure he can get a stoppage win either. I tend to think he walks into punches and pretty much like the Tyson fight, fights a horrible strategic bout.

It's not that he was a bad fighter but Trevor Berbick was made to order for a fighter like Dempsey.

    Nah.
A good pimp is a master of coercion and intimidation. Violence is a large part of his MO.
Al Capone and Lucky Luciano were pimps. It's not a job for the faint-hearted.
****/'breaking in' a new girl is a department of the industry.

Incidentally, that's precisely what Dempsey was accused of.

I don't think Dempsey could lot Berwick like Tyson did. Trevor psyched himself out in the Tyson fight.

Dempsey drops Berbick for a full 50 count at the weigh in, Berbick hasn't a chance.

We all know Dempsey would never fight Berbick anyways, much to black for Jack.

In all reality dempsey should win this early.

Berbick was high on confidence and considered himself the best hw in the world. Some young knockout king with lots of hype but little substance didn't scare him. He'd have tried to out man jack just as he did with Tyson. Make him respect his power, show he can take the shots and rough up in close. This would lead to him being slaughtered by Jack. Probably not as quick because Jack isn't on Mike's level. But he should do him within 6.
