Poll: Do you think Andre Ward will ever lose in his prime?

At some point Ward will lose. Probably by knockout. He doesn't have great power and he did show a chin weakness, albeit at a lower weight class.

In addition to Dawson and Dirrell which have been mentioned, I could see Martinez giving him a challenge.
Dirrell and Martinez are a bit awkward and not necessarily come forward fighters, so, Ward will have difficulty just winning by countering them. Dawson is the most conventional, but, his height and reach advantage should cause Ward some problems as well.

yep. the best way to beat a slick fighter is putting him against another one. these guys are already hip to the little techniques and tricks.

Bhop knows. thats why he wanted no parts of dawson.

 

Dawson has a legit chance of beating him. If he gets past Dawson I don't see anyone from 168-175 beating him anytime soon.

 

168 is a lock for Ward. (Nobody there or below CFWH)
IF he ever decides to move to Light HWT or higher??
(Then he might catch an "L" or 2)

Dawson is the best guy Ward will ever face tho.

Pretty much this. The 168-175 divisions are there for his taking.

The only way I see him losing is to a dangerous puncher landing a somewhat one-off shot.

 

Dawson, Maravilla, GGG, and Andre Dirrell are legit threats, but still, SOG would be favored to beat all.

 

Naw he wont retire undefeated like Mayweather but he wont lose until hes old like Roy.

 

Dirrell could do it, but I think he could have a breakdown halfway through the fight.
