Cleverly to fight Simcic

This is poor. Im hoping its crap. Even us Welsh are losing patience with Clev. Hes making Calzaghes WBO reign look like Frochs reseme.

 

Cleverly and Frank are a match made in heaven, a couple of scumbag's, that have no interest in building a legacy and giving the fans good fights, they are both in the game to make money off of gullible fan's, Frank's a **** of a man and Cleverly's no better, he's quite happy calling himself a ''world champion'' and fobbing everybody off with **** defences.

 

It's not Clevs fault. I'm sure he would love to fight the names of the division but Frank, for whatever reason, isn't making those fights.
Sad to see.

 

He could object if he wanted to, he is happy to fight the bums

 

If Clev really wanted them, he could force the issue, he don't, he's happy milking the belt you can tell by his attitude in interviews, he's already talking about retiring and he has a maths degree to fall back on.

Clev doesnt sell enough tickets & generate enough revenue to make bringing a big name over here financially viable

spot on that 100% if you wanna be the best fight the top ten in the division dont think hes even fought anyone near the top ten in the world rankings or anywhere close think the highest ranked he fought was murat and fair ****s to bellew he fights whoevers put in front of him no questions asked unlike clevs team looking for an easy route and ripping off fans

 

Tbf it took Calzaghe a long time to gain major popularity, Clev is still young & has time on his side.

I watched Simcic's last fight on youtube & he's not a total donkey, just an average Euro-fighter with a nice right hand who Clev can hopefully look good against.

 

People complain about german champions fighting bums. Cleverly fight worse opponents than Germans atsch. I want Fonfara vs Cleverly fight in USA :bbb.

Not really...
About a year ago he was actually complaining that fans wanted to see him in with 'real' opponents.
He said something like "years ago you could defend your belt against a horde of softies for years, now they expect you fight a top fighter at your 2nd defence."

I really want to find that interview again :yep
