And Oscar De La Hoya holds the record for highest purse as a fighter which is $52.8 million. He was also the promoter but still took that home and you and all these other *******s weren't bitching then were you.
and what was to ***** about? Do you even think before you post? Some of you ******s are just always in DEFEND mode you don't even understand the debates.
Not at all. I wasn't in any "defend" mode... I was pointing something out, which you did not know, and that was relevant.
I'd do the winner split (after making sure my promotional backing picks some of the judges) or take an extra 5%. I'd have no problem splitting it even, but if I were to have an advantage, the options I just gave are fair.
Lara Williams etc etc...Just cuz the promotional companies pick em doesn't mean they aren't corrupt either. Also, with your way, one guy stands to guarantee his highest payday if he loses while the other guy stands to take a paycut if he loses. That is not a fair deal at all really. Thanks though.
Hell no. If I brought in more revenue then it wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint. I would give Manny his 40 million but I would give him some ppv shares as well.
Lara-Williams were done by the same promoter with one fighter being well-established and the other relatively unknown, unless I'm mistaken. This is all assuming Pac only gets what the NSAC documents say, which I think is absurd to assume. Nobody has a copy of Manny's contract with Top Rank, so it's silly to assume that the disparity between their earnings is so wide.
People around here with no idea of the numbers need to stop pretending they do and start getting excited if and when the fight ever happens :good
After Pac's loss to Bradley and his latest PPV numbers I can't see him geting 50/50..... 60/40 would be fair. Fight should have happened over 2 years ago anyway and I really don't give it much thought anymore.
