Of course it was Etienne Whitaker, years ago, at light heavyweight, where all but one of McCreary's bouts have been.

 

But that's what it seems his handlers are planning on doing to him anyway, build up a big enough KO record to make him something of an attraction, then cash him out. There's no middle ground here. Deontay isn't gaining experience, he's gaining meaningless numbers, and I see nothing good about that.

Makaveli has wins over Raphael Butler and Kendrick Releford, two respected journeymen who would send the glass sweepers into the ring if they landed flush on Wilder.

Bowie Tupou is not a journeyman in any way, shape or form. Look at his record, Wilder isn't fit to lace the boots of many of his opponents.

You can't seem to grasp that that was several years ago, when Wilder was still learning, and you can't seem to grasp that most top champions have been down a few times in their careers. I believe that part of your brain must be missing, since many posters have pointed this out to you, many times on many different threads, but you can't seem to comprehend the concept.

Im not sold on him or Mitchell, but isn't there a difference between being "gun shy" and inexperienced? Let the kid develop, if he's fighting the same fighters in 5 or 6 fights than have at him. Till then lets not forget the kid has a total of seven years experience pro and am combined.
