Mikkel Kessler vs. Andre Direll, February

Why the surprise it's in Denmark ? Boxing doesnt seem to draw the punters in in the US anymore, especially not for Dirrell. Kessler on the other hand is a star in Denmark. Its the natural place to have it.

Hope Kessler smashes him up and i hope Dirrell comes to fight cos he's a talented lad.

 

I can never understand people on these boards who defend people like Miss Andrea Dirrelevant

She is a cowardly queen, with no place in a Man's business.

She ran, held, complained, slipped and flopped against Mr Froch

She Faked being knocked out, and fake cried against Mr Abraham

She faked brain Damage to get out of fighting Mr Ward.

She is a disgrace to the sport.

Mr Kessler will spank her good and proper, he will give her a jolly good seeing to

It was a great shot, but Allan Green is crap! And Kessler struggled with him up to that point! Kessler is a sharp fighter, who relies on timing and accuracy. His inactivity and injuries have been awful. Don't get me wrong, a younger Kessler would knock Dirrell out for sure

what a great fight. Winner must get Froch after he handles Mack and Bute.

 

I think stylistically, this is actually a very winnable fight for Dre. Kessler is as good as or better than Froch, but he aint got Carl's iron beard.

Could be interesting so long as Dre is fighting. If Dre brings the heat early, he could potentially shock the world and send Kessler into retirement on a huge, disappointing KO loss.

However, it would take some huge balls for Dre to take those kind of risks like Green did, who had nothing at all to lose. He knew he was getting KOd anyways, so he threw caution to the wind early and went for it.
Dirrel, OTOH, seems to try to school his opponents early, building up a points lead, then running for the rest of the bout.
He'll lose on the cards though since any early rounds that Kessler is the agressor will go his way even if he's missing.:think
