    People say that because Bute started his pro career at LHW. When you fight 5 times a year, you obviously can't cut weight like when you fight twice or 3 times a year. In the amateurs, you have to fight several times in a short period so you can't cut weight either.


    Bute is a cruiser between 2 fights. He could easily fight at LHW and so far had no trouble to fight at SMW. I could imagine Froch fighting Bute at LHW as a first fight at the weight. Froch is realy confident to win easily the second match against Bute so he would use it as a tune up at LHW.

    laffie, is the fight at LHW so that the belt cannot be on the line? Or would Bute prefer for the belt not to be on the line as long as he doesn't have to lose that much weight, because he's got a higher chance, then?

    I know Bute had certain clauses in the contract but to say the fight will be at LHW with no belt just because it suits Bute would be getting ridiculous IMO.Why doesn't he just get Froch to hop on one leg as well?
    Not saying it's impossible for the fight to be at 175 but I just can't see the point.Froch is a very comfortable SMW and Bute needs that belt back if he wants any bargaining power in the future.(not that it's gonna happen:nono)

    Are you just going up on your own? Hotel booked?

    If it's at 175, it makes even less sense than what it already is.

    I think it is his weight, but the thing is Larouce said that once his gone up to 175 he will be for good. Let's be real here, Froch toke that belt of Bute's, so he has to get it back and at SMW.
