Kessler couldnt land the left on Ward fighting out of the southpaw stance. honestly i think he clueless on how to beat an elite southy.

Agreed. This is extremely dangerous for Dirrell, especially as a direct step up from the likes of Darryl Cunningham and whatever similar-level tune-up he'd conceivably be able squeeze in between now and February.

The tattooed marksman will ring his bell worse than Abraham with that foul, using legal blows. :nod

If Andre fights him anywhere, even Michigan, :respect

I think even in Danemark Andrea's chances are good to beat Kessler but we know he's not going to fight him in Europe and I doubt Mikkel will go to USA for Dirrelevant's ass.

A bit faster, a bit harder, and a lot more athletic...yes, granted.

That is where Dirrell's superiority ends.

Hardly the only difference other than those already mentioned above.

    Ward has the greater:

    Chin
    Defense (Non-athleticism-reliant defense, anyway)
    Mental toughness
    Ring intelligence and generalship acumen
    Gas tank
Arguably jab, despite having much less reach
    Punch variety

Nah. Kessler is talented enough even well past his best years to have stood in the pocket and scrabbled his way to victory over someone Dirrell ran from and spoiled against nearly as bad as he did against Stevens.

Kessler has already fought a trickier and more guileful southpaw than Dirrell will ever be, and acquitted himself well despite a clear loss.

Let's not act like Ward was his closest whiff of an elite lefty. :yep

Your perception maybe. I saw a young inexperienced fighter for the first 5 rounds toy with a veteran who gave Kessler all he could handle and then some only to be a bit overtaken by rough house tactics before waking up in the last 3 rounds and putting on a clinic and having Froch wobbled.

He was competitive for the first 3 rounds vs Calzaghe. Then Calzaghe established his jab and its all she wrote. Which points to Kesslers faults as a fighter. No head movement. At all. Hes noggin is not hard to locate.

Ward and Calzghe are pretty conventional fighters. Dirrell on the other hand is unconventional in the strictest sense. Kessler has fought nobody in his career like Dirrell. He couldnt even outbox Froch. He had to go to war. Against Dirrell is only hope would be to make it a slug fest. Hes not as nearly fast nor as varied offensively to hope to compete with Dirrell in a conventional boxing match as Froch and Abraham both found out.

Can't read Danish. Dirrell was meant to fight Ward, remember? That was all planned, and Dirrell quit out the S6 with some fake brain injury. He punked out of a fight only a month or so ago. I'll believe he's gonna find some balls and fight in Denmark when I see him climb in the ring.
