Good fight, one that I never saw coming. Trout isn't very well known but he's a solid fighter and will be a semi-live underdog here.

I think Trout will have some early success by sticking and moving and will be pretty even halfway through the fight. But, Cotto will work the body from the start and eventually wear Trout down. I'm not sure if he'll stop Trout or not but by the end Cotto will be in control. Cotto by UD.

Cotto a G this was a fight from left field totally caught me by surprise and its such a good competitive fight... Cotto aint outboxing trout imo he is gonna have to pressure him and hope trout doesn't land a huge counter. Super competive fight I like it.

How so? Trout isn't a big puncher, he's not a pressure fighter, and he possesses a somewhat rudimentary skillset. He's also not particularly quick, nor that hard to hit. Typically, Cotto shines brightest against guys like Trout.

 

Did you not see his fight with Mayweather? A waaaay higher skilled fighter then Trout made work hard. Cotto will break Trout down. :yep
