Round 5 Chagaev works in behind the jab, big left uppercut counter and Kreiskott is DOWN! Turtle flipped on its shell! Kreiskott manages to roll himself onto his feet and beat the count, then waddles into a corner as Chagaev jabs back in on him. Another big left uppercut by Chagaev stepping in, missing. Kreiskott tries to back him out with jabs and rights but Chagaev defends with a high guard and head movement (that is, keeping his head positioned behind his forearms). Big series of bashes by Chagaev pushing Kreiskott toward a corner, but unable to hold him there. Kreiskott takes a hard straight left to the chest. DOWN!! Up and saved by the bell as Chagaev tosses another pendulous left into his lungs. 10-7 Chagaev 50-43 Chagaev
Don't understand how an absolute drubbing is THAT much less impressive than flipping **** and stopping a guy early. Also, Chagaev has great bodywork for a heavy.
If this buffon would jab, feint a second jab and under loop that hand as an uppercut to the belly, then he'd get a KO this round.
Round 6 Chagaev stalks with the jab, but isn't cutting the ring off with any velocity. Body shots by Chagaev, reaching as Kreiskott hops back into a corner. Chagaev tries to open up and Kreiskott jumps inside to rumble, last best chance. The crowd builds up to a wail in anticipation of fireworks. They don't come. Chagaev is still workmanlike, stepping around, jabbing, with only the odd short combo. Kreiskott bounces to his left, at range. Body shot by Chagaev, reaching. Kreiskott leans in against Chagaev and presses down arm to arm. Jabs to the top of the head by Chagaev. Kreiskott throws some wild uppers to the body on the inside. 10-9 Chagaev 60-52 Chagaev
Round 7 Chagaev marches up and slams Kreiskott with a straight left hand sending him flying and landing on his buttocks KO7!!
