Eubank by a wide margin if not by KO. Eubank was a great fighter and was Calzaghe's best win of his career.

eubank was never 'great', and calzaghe's best win was never an ageing eubank

kessler beating froch gives calzaghe a proven world class opponent in his prime on his resume - so its kessler, or an ageing hopkins

The referee would have Lucian's safety very much in his hands on this night.Eubank had an ability to badly hurt guys without putting them over meaning he could tee off on them at will.
I see why HMB says Eubank wasn't great, but at his peak he had the ability to give anyone a tough night. His problem was laziness and complacency.Ability, toughness and skill were never in doubt. He didn't do as much as he should've because he wouldn't fight in the States for less money when he should've for one fight to get a foot in the door.
He'd hurt Bute very badly IMO,and that's no disrespect to Lucian.

Bute is the harder puncher and the more skilled fighter - Eubank stands no chance.

    None. At all.

Bute doesnt have the skills nor the power to beat Eubank but Eubank had the skills and the power to knock Bute out, after a couple of feeling each other out Eubank would start to pick him with his jab and time him with his right hand and this is a pattern that keeps on for a couple of rounds until Eubank catches Bute with something big that he didnt see and knocks him clean out. Eubank KO 6.

Eubank is/was far superior to Froch & on a completely different level to Bute

Bute would get smashed to bits

Eubank would just run through him like Froch did. There is a certain level of strength that im afraid Bute simply doesnt have.

What was Eubank's knockout ratio at 168 again?

Here's a clue: It was not good. And this is against mostly woeful opposition.

He wouldn't even hit Bute with his right hand the way he threw it 80% of the time. More often then not, the punch was an amateurish joke.

Name one fighter in the top 50 in the world that Eubank ran through?

That's what I thought. Generally it's because it wasn't his style to do so. He was also incapable of doing so as he was useless coming forward.

Remember people: Eubank = Competent counter-puncher. Competent finisher. Has VERY little else.

He doesnt need to have an high KO ratio to knock glass jaw Bute out.

Andrade isnt a big puncher and he almost knocked Bute out, Froch is a decent puncher but far from being a big puncher and he hurt Bute with almost every punch he landed.

Not a big fan of Eubank but Bute aint **** hes the definition of an hypejob first time he fought anyone good he got exposed and got totally dominated and knocked the **** out, He looked like a bum of the street against Froch.

He wouldnt stand a ****ing chance against Eubank.

    Just my opinion.

What did Froch achieve that Eubank didnt?

Name me one thing Froch does better than Eubank or one area where you think he is superior.

Eubank was a better fighter all day long, the evidence is on youtube.

evidence is never on youtube, though highlight reels may be

froch got his chance to make his name on the international stage when jermain taylor handed him a lifeline, he took it, and he never looked back

just because eubank ended up in the 'euro graveyard' filled with fighters who never made their mark in the states is exactly the reason why he doesnt deserve props over froch
