"Retired heavyweight boxer David Tua says he is returning to professional boxing, the Samoa Observer reports.

Saying he wants to be back in the ring by March, he would not reveal who he might fight.

Tua said he had decided to retire earlier this year because of his care for his supporters.

"I didn't want to let them down knowing I had some outstanding issues to sort out. But I believe that is behind me now. I'm looking forward to fighting again and giving it one last try," he told the Observer.

"It's going to be a case of one fight at the time. I believe there is still a lot of fight left in me and I'm looking forward to getting back into it."

I saw a video of him recently and he's very obese.

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5thPBVhdYV4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

He's got a long way to go to get back in some semblence of boxing shape.

He has got time. He has been bigger than what he is now and come back so I have faith.

If he is going to come back and fight like he did in the last two rounds against Barrett then we are in for a treat. If not then it a waste of everyones time.

Tua is enormous. He always looks pretty fat but he has a load of muscle under there. Look at his legs here:

No wonder he carried so much power. Prime Tua is capable of knocking out every heavyweight today.

Yeah, and prime Roy Robinson could be KOd by any version of Corrie Spinks......what's your point?

Any fighter is CAPABLE of KOing ANY other fighter. There are only 3-4 top 20 HWs today that Tua WOULD beat though.....and that's all that matters really.

Both Klitshckos scorch any version of Tua. Haye does as well. Potvetkin out works him to a UD. Helenius KOs him. Pulev outpoints him. He could probably KO Fury if Tyson let Tua drag him into a war. Solis rapes tua. Tua would KO Thompson, even prime. He'd probably KO Mitchell, although it's too early to tell really. Arreola would make Tua his *****. Chambers would smoke him. Adamek would find a way to win. Wach would pummel him into submission. Chagaev would outwork him.
Yeah Tua is capable of KOing someone. That is if they LET him tee off on em.:rofl
