This fight would only happen in the states and the speed difference is just too much. Tyson in his prime I believe was the best heavyweight of all time.
Tyson's fear factor wouldn't affect Vitali like it did all of Tyson's 80's victims, but if I had to bet the house I'd pick Tyson. 50-50 though.
Vitali just needs to do it smart. Only give a fight when you will get a rematch incase you lose. first fight he starts kicking Tyson his legs out of prime. Next match he will have an easy fight.
I don't think Tyson would KO Vitali, but I think his workrate would've made him win rounds against the robot. So I went with the unpopular option of Tyson PTS.
Extremely tall, strong, very powerful, great jab, heavier than Mike, good chin, and not afraid, decent skill level, ect.
He also has a tremendous stamina. He just keeps going, strange half bitchslap/uppercut/jabs coming from all angles possible and his stamina doesn't fade.
At their bests Vitaly cannot fight going backwards and can be hit by a fast fighter..see Chris Byrd. Tyson at his best would slip Vittles punches and make him pay both downstairs and up. Both fighters would tire by the seventh with Tyson having built a big lead. He won't take Vits out though and the fight would get closer down the stretch with Mike winning a close but UD.
what the ****? Vitali is afriad of all sorts, and is not at all powerful. you cant just invent attributes just because hes your idol.
quite right. With a Vitalisque background, support and upbringing Tucker would have had the mental stability to have ruled to HW division post Holmes had Tyson not been on the scene, all the way up till the emergence of Lennox. Tucker would tko vitali or very least outpoint him, Vit is way too slow to keep up.
So were about 98% of Tysons opponents So were guys like Ruddock, Bruno etc Vitali isnt as powerful as you try to make him out, it took him 8 rounds to KO Danny Williams and Adamek and Sam Peters. Tyson was disposing of much biggers in much better fashion, so i guess that maes him more powerful then? His jab is ok against plodders like Arreola and Peters, Tyson was trained to duck under jabs, Vitalis poor footwork and the fact that hes just plain slow will work in Tysons favour. Tyson found no problems with Larry Holmes jabs and the jabs of guys like Pinklon Thomas and these guys jabs were just as good vitalis if not better Being heavier doesnt really mean **** Based on what? his whole 'chin' is based on taking an uppercut from Lennox Lewis. He was stopped by the one decent puncher he fought. Whereas Tyson stopped plenty of guys whod never been stopped before. Tyson was the first man to Ko Pinklon Thomas He was the first man to Ko Tyrell Biggs He was the first and only man to Ko Holmes He was the first and only man to Ko Spinks He was the first man to Ko Tony Tubbs Kod Alex Stewart in one round, who had had gone the distance with Foreman Kod Lou Savarese in one round who had also gone the distance with Foreman First man to Ko Buster Mathis, whod been the distance with Bowe And Vitalis chin based on? taking an uppercut from Lewis? If Vitalis claim to fame is losing (in his prime) to Lewis TK06, then Tyson is greater, because he was over the hill and still lasted 8 rounds with a much better Lewis Not being afraid of standing on railway tracks, doesnt mean you wont get hit by a train. decent skill level, yes your right, his skills are average
Vitali has much better workrate than Tyson not to mention being a better boxer. Vitali outworks the midget and stops him late.
Oscar de La Hoya is Taller, faster, has more reach and is more skilled than Tyson. Weight is the most important thing in boxing. (Same goes for Julian Jackson, if you count post-prison Tyson that lacked skills)
