It's kind of hilarious that a 'stay-busy' fight for Froch will turn out be be a tougher challenge than whoever Cleverley takes on. I can't hold it against Froch for not wanting to jeopardize a rematch with Bute though, he deserves it.

yeah, karpency was a total scrub that didn't deserve to be there. but if none of the big names will step into the ring with him, what's he supposed to do?

i feel sorry for the guy.

Pascal pulled out of a fight with Cloud, why not try and poach that guy into something. Hopkins would have probably been willing to fight to...

Good fight for Cleverly, can't risk losing that "0". He needs to take it slow and soak up the accolades that come with being undefeated.

But the point is that Mack is accepted as a soft touch for Froch after a few very hard years.
This is just typical for Cleverly. There's a world of difference.

He's just inferred that Froch knocked him back. There are undiscovered tribes in the Amazon that knew he was down for a rematch as long as Bute fancied it.

Bellew is fighting better opposition in Miranda than Cleverly has since getting his gift of a title. Can't stand the way Cleverly is managed...i can accept "bringing a fighter along slowly, not rushing him" if he's just starting out...but hes WORLD CHAMP FFS

Come on man...do you seriously think he couldn't of got someone better than the #41 ranked guy? OK, even if Hopkins, Dawson, Froch etc won't step in with him...why not fight a genuine top 10 guy at 175? Is it acceptable to go from trying to get a top guy to being happy with the number 41 guy?

The guy Cleverly is fighting has stopped Campillo in a fight. Although that was in 2007.

Would rather Cleverly fought a top 10 fighter or a rematch with Bellew would be a good fight to make.
