Manny's defense is not the best, but it's much, much better than Khan's. Plus, he's got a much better chin.

Who has hit Manny flush in the last few years other than JMM? Guys like Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and Bradley barely touched Manny.

yeah and when they did, he ate it. body shots? i've seen him hurt from some of those, just stating facts. either way, he's lightyears better than khan in terms of durability, defense, and offense. simply put they do not belong in the same conversation.

 

He just digs that hole deeper and deeper for himself the poor fella.

 

his offense is ok. he rushes in, throws next to no feints and cant change rythem and pace of the fight and these things are part of offense. so he's not all that great imo

Stupid way of thinking anyway, and also deluded. Manny IS the best fighter in the world, and Khan's offence is not all that. Fast flurries doesn't mean he has a great offence. If I had the genetics I'd be the best sprinter in the world. If I had the looks of Sergio Martinez I'd be the biggest man ***** in the world. Fantasy will get him nowhere. I think Khan gets too much criticism for his comments sometimes but he done ****ed up here.

 

Getting nailed to the body by a guy 17lbs heavier will hurt anyone. I'm surprise Manny didn't go down from that shot.

But that's a testament to Manny's durability, compared to Khan's glass chin and giraffe-like reaction to getting hit.

 

Khan is delusional. He isn't one of the best offensive fighters in the world. He fights like an amateur. He needs to improve big time in both areas. He needs to improve on so many areas that I laugh when he says that he would be the best in the world if he had better defense. He makes fundamental flaws that is really taught on the first or second day when you start boxing (Leaving his chin exposed).

 

Excatly. Everybody can say 'If this If that. If i didn't lose all 12 rounds i would of won the fight " etc etc. His point his **** and means nothing.

I never meant to imply that being hurt to the body was a strike against manny, I was simply acknowledging that it happened. sometimes we look at fighters as superheroes but in all honesty they're men, and taking the body shots he took against a much bigger man in margarito was extraordinary.
