    He had an Iron chin, and the shots that he took throughout his career are testament to that

    Lewis didn't have an Iron Chin

    he fought many hard-hitting punchers, but how many times did Tua catch him clean? Tyson? Ruddock? Golota? Grant?

    Lewis had a decent chin, his skills at boxing and evading the punches was his key to success, by get hurt when you don't have to? Rahman, McCall, even Briggs proved that Lewis didn't have an iron chin, I'd rate his chin at around 7, 7.5 out of 10

    He's got two bad stoppages on his record, so hardly rates a 7. A 7 would be for a guy who was dropped on his ass in fights and came back to win. An 8 or above is for a guy whose never been stopped by concussive blows. A 9 or above for a guy with multiple title defences whose never once been on the floor in his career. :deal

    Never got off the canvas to win.

    not to say Lewis couldnt take, he could but he was a master of distance and using his size and defense

    he faced many punchers but he hardly got touched by them in his fights

    that punch he took off rahman would not of knocked out everyone. he barley got hit off the bigest punchers he fought, which is credit to his skills.

    i think his chin is underated, its not glass, but not above 'good enough'.

    holyfield had him wobbled in round 7 in second fight. i believe that if any decent punching heavyweight can hit lennox clean on the chin, then he can be KO'd

    Lennox's chin wasn't granite but what I will say is that his chin seemed to get better the more in to a fight he got. Briggs and Klitschko both shook him in the first couple of rounds. But as soon as he planted his feet, tucked his chin in to his chest and started to trade, he seemed to take the shots better.

    lol, he was KOed by Rahman and Mccall, he was out on his feet against Briggs, Vitaly hurt him with arm punches. Lewis's chin is pretty mediocre.
