    It is just sparring but getting hit and hurt like that during camp can't be good for confidence and obviously the effects of a brain injury/concussion depending on the severity.

    Agree... They spar together for 8-10 rounds, 3 days a week for 5-6 weeks. Anything is bound to happen, especially when one of them is a huge puncher. As long as Chad was able to recompose himself and continue with the workout then he should be physically fine. Could affect him a little mentally. Just good thing Ward isn't a big puncher.

    However, IF this is true, considering that Dawson's side seems to want this hush hush, I wonder if it was much more than a knockdown... :think

    IF this is true, Chad should let Miranda keep his belt over his house atleast one damn night. In a boxing landscape with so many titles and some sometimes sort of undeserving holders, i always wished for Edison to have gotten one.....atleast one time.

    Generally, if it takes more than 10 seconds to recover it is considered a KO by definition. (unless you are Kermit the Frog Cintron against Martinez then it's a draw) We're talking 10 MINUTES here......

    Yes, nobody can ever say Edison hasn't earned a belt. He KO'd the light heavyweight champion. Even in sparring that should get him the belt, like you said, at least for one night!

    Oh yeah, assuming this rumor has validity... :think

    boxinginsider using the emoticon with 11 posts is troll material. esb really needs to do away with these smilies. i was once trying to hold a conversation with this JASPER guy and he must have used 30 of these ****ing things. i was actually kind of amused by the guy.


    then i found out JASPER was in his 40's and felt kind of sad for him.


    boxinginsider may have validity of the rumor but hes definately a troll.
