carl froch as a fighter

    Ive seen him fight a few times i thought he lost to direll he has never seemed that great to me.

    anybody else think this.

    Froch is a warrior but not a great boxer.if you thought he lost to Dirrell you dksab.Dirrell is neither a warrior or a boxer,he's just a bad actor who coudn't even get a job in a porn movie beacuse he has no balls.none.

    Froch is a tough fighter. Not the greatest of boxers, but is someone who is durable and just keeps on moving forward. He has a good chin and will give anyone a tough fight.

    I think he is a guy who would lose to every elite level talent that he fought, but would win versus all non-elite opposition, even against stylistic odds. That's right, I did not ever think Bute was an elite level talent. Is the Bute win an elite victory? Yes. But Bute is not an elite fighter like Ward or Kessler are.

    Froch is a perfect gate keeper for the elite level.

    He keeps out the Bute's of the world, and bolsters the greatness of the Ward's.

    Dirrell beat him though.

    Consider the high regard in which Froch is held by so many boxing fans,then consider what a flawed fighter he is with a fairly tenuous grip on the fundamentals...
    Says it all really.The guy is bravery and excitement personified.
