The great thing about Froch is that he is not some great boxer, he's an average guy that has shown what you can do with heart and determination.

    ****ing hell.

I know Froch is no SSR in the skills department but he's still world class.

Love Froch. Like's been said he hasnt got elite skills but that not everyone is Floyd Maywether, guys like Froch are what boxing's all about. Fearless fuker, hard as nails and just an everyday guy.

I admittedly wrote him off pretty early...Just wasn't impressed with him.
Thought he would be carved up eventually because he was pretty slow but still insisted on fighting with that hubristic hands down Roy Jones wannabe style.

But he has since won me over a little...Mostly because of his willingness to be unCalzaghe like in his pursuit of the biggest fights out there but also because he is a better fighter than I gave him credit for.

He has overcome guys with big speed advantages over him by not just his chin and conditioning...he makes them miss and feints them into passiveness with his..well awkward cobra like upper body movement...pretty good ring awareness aswell...his physical size and spider ****** arms help to.
He knows what he is doing in there, he can just be a bit painful to watch sometimes..bit fumbly and to awkward for his own good in a way.

Under-rated skills really. Just look at how horribly he schooled Abraham (Worse than Ward did) when people thought Abe was going to KO him, and had Dirrell flopping all over the place. He can impose his gameplan and make it work for him. Beating Bute put him back into the elite tier, simple as.

    Hall of Famer, imo.

Carl Froch is right up there at SMW, a really proven fighter, the real deal.

And Andre Ward is even better.

So the Bute win is an "elite win" yet Bute is not an elite fighter?

ESB logic at its befuddling finest. :-(

Would love to see a Frock-Kessler tack team VS Ward and Dirrell...

15 round and a small ring... no Referee interrupting the fight!

    :D

Probably one of the fighters that has won over any real boxing fan. Sure most of us think he looks sloppy and doesnt have the same skill set as Andre Ward or Dirrell, but he has a big set of cajones and is not afraid to come to your home town to fight you.

If boxing had 20 more Carl Froch's it wouldnt be a bad thing

If dirrel had frochs balls he would be a atg!!!

Of all the talent at 168-175 dirrel has decided to call out the new wbo champ abraham why not go for froch or ward??!!

Froch is a beast not the most skilled or fastest by any means but his drive, determination and sheer toughness are heading him in the direction of the hall of fame...another win over bute and the kessler rematch will get him in!!
