I definitely don't want to infer that I think Floyd is vastly inferior to Spinks as that's not my opinion at all,but I am glad to see Spinks getting some overdue respect here.
Look at his resume in title fights at 175.I think it's something like 11-0 with 7 or 8 stoppages.Only people like the teak tough Qawi and Eddie Muhammed(there was someone else,but can't be arsed looking) pushed him to the final bell.A similar run at welter or middle would guarantee legendary status.
Bottom line is there's not much between them and what I hope people take from this thread is that the loss to Tyson should not blight Spinks' remarkable achievements.
