Thats what your saying, you said that you must have the WBC IBF and WBA, well Baldimor didnt get all three titles, However he was still the undisputed Champion IMO cus he beat Judah who was undisputed...
But going by your comments you have to have all three so that means in your opinion Baldimor was not the undisputed champion, meaning when Floyd beat him Floyd was not either....

Didnt he not give up one of the belts because he didnt want to pay the sanction fees???So technically he held all of the belts at one point and time...So your point is moot to me!:hi:

Undisputed means you can't argue with it......... meaning you hold belts of the 4 major bodies as well as The Ring title.

Holding more than one belt (of the 4 bodies) means your unified.

Holding The Ring belt means you are lineal, another belt on top is just the cherry on top.

But Floyd didnt win all of the belts regardless of what Carlos did or did not do, so that means Floyd was never undisputed :deal

Back pedaling now I see as expected, there are rules when you fight for titles and if you do not pay the sanctioning fees, if you should win you are not undisputed.... :hi:

Got ya back pedaling so much you had to come back a 2nd time... give it up Baldimor was never undisputed simply because he did not pay the sanctioning fees he did not follow the rules required in order to become undisputed :deal Meaning Floyd was never undisputed thats a fact.

Pretty much this. IMO, the marquee belts have typically been the IBF, WBA, WBC, and The Ring. Back in my youth (80s) having them would equal undisputed.

Now that belts have lost their meanings, cleaning out a division is the best a fighter can do. He might get stripped of a title for bogus reasons, but the fans know he is the undisputed champ.
