    Americans underrate Calzaghe

Im not really a fan of his, but he is very underrated on here.

He fought **** opposition for the majority of his career, but that is Frank Waren for you

    Annihilated?

  4. That win was legit but I wouldn't use the word 'annihilated.'

Calzaghe was very good and it wasn't his fault his opposition didn't get stepped up until the last few years of his career. I'm a fan.

Also, no offence to any other fans,

But when the British football (soccer) fans get behind a fighter, there is not better atmosphere for a fight in the sport. The noise, amazing :)

He annihilated a guy who finished the fight on his feet and won a few rounds while dealing with a hand injury?

look up "annihilated" in the dictionary and get back to us
example of being annihilated when 2 undefeated fighters fight
    mayweather vs corrales

Very good win for Calzaghe, in an entertaining fight. It was certainly wasn't an annihilation

In all seriousness, I think (based on the limited number of interviews I've read) that even he would say his fans are overzealous. He used lines like "I know my limitations" and seemed like a pretty reasonable guy. Contrast that with posts by Failey and crew.
