Na man he made just about everyone work hard for the W. Some think he beat Cotto. He was I guess the Ike Quartey of his generation, a watered down Ike Quartey.

At no point could Cotto have forced a stoppage. LOL. You dickriding for Cotto just gave your clown ass away.

Cotto had no answers and Clottey was walking his ass back and landing simple 1-2s on him the whole nice. Busting that face up. Cotto did outwork Clottey some rounds though, but not enough to win a clearly Clottey fight but those are the breaks with Arum.

Clottey was clearly putting hands on a Judah. What fight did you watch? Not Clottey's fault Judah only decided to stick and move for a round or two. Two or three rounds doesn't win you a fight, when clear clean shots are bouncing off of your face all night.

I had the Cotto vs Clottey fight for Cotto by one point. The difference being the flash, jab knockdown early on. Clottey should have been letting his hands go on Cotto, but I can't really blame him, seeing as he was ice skating while Cotto had firm footing. Pay close attention to the second half of the fight and notice how many times Clottey slips when throwing a punch. Something wasn't right about that. Footing should be firm for both boxers. They both use everlast. That Cotto's feet would be glued to the canvas, while Clottey was ice skating was always fishy to me.

if you watch boxing then you'd know he fought both Cotto and Margo around their peaks - two guys who were top welterweights - and gave them hell, in the eyes of many beating Cotto. Which makes him a top WW.

You're too stuck on boxrec man. Instead of saying he lost to both just watch the actual fights and you'll see for yourself what he did in the ring to make him a top WW.

:blood you sound like some ***** who hasn't seen the fight just heard about it from another **** who doesn't know what the **** he's talking about.
Clottey won that ****ing fight, landed more punches and had Cotto running like Usain Bolt for the last 2 rounds. He beat the ****ing rican out of Cotto even Miguel looked surprised he won. What an absolute twit you are. Ridiculous comment.

:blood what a ****ing ******. Soundly beaten by split decision:huh How was he soundly beaten? Nobody exept pacquiao has very 'soundly' beaten him. And he was whopping margaritos ass easily for 5 rounds til his right hand shattered in half which cost him the fight. But to say Cotto beat him soundly is absolute folklaw told by gays.

:blood are you a spastic? He was caught off balence, went down and got straight up unhurt and proceeded to whoop the living **** out of Cottos head til round 11 when Miguel decided he was just gunna run for his life and hope for a bent decision which he got.

:deal And that's exactly what did happen. The decision to give Cotto the nod I it went 12 rounds was made before the fight even started. They took it away from him because he wasn't the marquee name but anyone with half a brain and an ounce of boxing knowledge knows that Clottey won that fight. **** me even HBO thought he won and we all know how bias those lot usually are.

:huh do you have learning disabilities? Stop looking at Boxrec, stop asking your boyfriends what they thought, go away, STFU and watch the ****ing fight. I can tell you havnt seen it because your talking pure dog **** son. Either you don't understand boxing or know enough about the sport or you havnt seen the fight it's definatly one or the other.

Who other than Floyd could, or actually did beat him convincingly and without question? The answer is ****ing nobody.

He lost to Margarito for ONE sole reason, he broke his hand in the 6th, previous to that he was in full command, look dominant and was clearly on his way to winning to that fight. He was out pointed later because he basically had to abandon the fight and just wait to til the end of 12 rounds.

As for Cotto, well if you wernt such a trolling bell end and actually watched the fight , you'd know he actually beat Migue Cotto but didn't get the decision, same way Sturm didn't get it vs Oscar or Quartey with Forrest. That **** happens when your the forieign fighter up against the marquee name in the USA.

Other than that...NOBODY else either wanted to fight him or had any chance of truly beating him. That's why he was a top welterweight you ****ing clown.

Aside from his loss to Pac, Clottey was never convincingly defeated.
