Completely I agree. Jones should of stepped up and fought:
    Pudwill
    McIntyre
    Thornberry
    Ashira
    Sheika
    Manfredo

Bernard Hopkins, Sugar Boy Malinga, Thomas Tate, Vinny Paz (fresh off beating Roberto Duran twice and Lloyd Honeyghan), James Toney, Eric Lucas and Mike McCallum were all at least "good", and Toney was rated #2 P4P when Jones beat him.

By the time Jones came to prominence, Benn wasn't in the same weight class. After Jones moved up, Benn started to lose as soon as the fight became realistic.

Should Jones have fought some guys he didn't? Absolutely. But his level of 'ducking' wasn't any worse than Mayweather or Pacquiao or Leonard or most other superstars from the last 25 or so years.

Hopkins, Malinga, Tate, Toney and you left off Hill, Tarver, Griffin, Ruiz, R.Johnson

The Pazienza and Mccallum wins mean next to nothing though , as they were both way past their best when Jones fought them

And as far as Darius goes Roy had more belts so he should come to the champ not the other way round. Roy offered him 2 million and a HBO date but he refused.
