Why did he cheat him on the scales? Why did he not honor the contract? You think that two pounds did not make the difference? The marquez that fought floyd had fat hanging off his trunks. The one that pac fought was shredded and kept his speed and power. That marquez would not have been outmuscled by floyd.

So Marquez was going to bully Floyd around, thats what his new game plan was going to be?

Floyd ran from a bloated, slow, weak,lightweight... No doubt a properly conditioned Jmm can close the distance like he was trying so hard to do. As well as able to counter and time Floyd much better..

LMAO and them you see them saying 1 pound made the difference in pac-cotto fight. I believe that if mayweather did not cheat the scales it would have been closer. I mean if it was not going to make a difference why did he do it?

That likely never would have worked. But at the very least, were they both lighter and Juan younger, if JMM was able to close the distance and keep low to land his overhand right over the shoulder (which he did at least once in almost every round, as he was getting shut out in the process), he wouldn't have his head held down by Floyd's upper body mass Ali style or shoved out of the clinch so readily.

Where did I say that? I said he would not have been easily pushed around like in the first fight where floyd controlled him easily. I remember Marquez saying it himself that he felt like mayweather had 20 lbs on him.

Exactly. it was pretty clear when they were close that marquez was severely outmatched on the strength department.

Floyd knew how good a fighter Jmm is, he wasn't gonna give up anything.. But you gotta blame Jmm as well.. Who the **** moves up two weight classes without a specialist to fight a guy like Floyd.. Very wise on his behalf they he didn't make that mistake twice..

I agree. And you are right, that was very stupid of JMM to not hire a specialist to help him gain the weight properly. It really affected his performance IMO.

Floyds elusive style and longer reach would pose the same problems. JMM might go for it a bit more and some rounds would look closer then they did. Maybe he backs him up for a round like Ortiz did. But the result would be the same. Floyd wins on points.

Great pics. Yeah I believe the strength discrepancy made a lot of difference. Floyd was able to control marquez and put him where he want to be. And you could also see it in juan's face how he was physically outgunned.

You don't think that 2 pounds did not make a difference? How about marquez not having a conditioning coach to help him move up two divisions without losing much of his speed, power and coordination?
