If Manny can beat Cotto at any weight...why does he ALWAYS demand a catchweight?

    No, Pac would be happiest if Cotto could fight him at 147, which is not a cw,, right?

    he didn't punish himself. that's the point. it was just part of the negotiations. nothing more. important thing is he didn't cheat back the cheater

    exactly, so when you say that Pac insisted on a catchweight cause he couldn't beat Cotto at the full limit - that's like saying Floyd insisted on special tests cause he couldn't beat Pac without those tests.

    It makes no sense.

    Why do you suppose he asked for it in the first place, if it was gonna hurt him?

    And props to him for being flexible on 153, he was only the Ring top rated sww in the world, and WBA sww super champ. You ever heard of a champ asking to defend at a cw? How about with a 6lb rehydration limit? I'd be impressed if you knew. Bonus question: as above, but the opponent being a 1 eyed bum

    but people can cheat by taking drugs...........you cant cheat by coming in at the divisional limit......

    Manny first said 147, consistent with what he said after Marg. That should get your respect, fighters rarely stick to their word. But then Cotto said, not below 150, and they offered him 150. He declined, probably cause no name fighter will fight him in NYC
