    Most likely doing it to generate saliva to spit out and make weight. He's going down in weight, and his recent comment about not being dehydrated suggests that making weight has been a focus

    The guy looks extremelly drained and even weak nomatter what he's chewing. Never would I bet on Chad in this situation. He looks under severe starvation so maybe he's chewng just to keep faking to himself that he's not starving. Horrible moment he must be experiencing right now, he must be wishing hard for the weight in.
