They can barely contain it. He's begging to be allowed to finish. What a warrior. He manages to convince "Papa Karmazin". They're going to let it continue!

Rajapbaev is dejected. He doesn't want it to be a stoppage loss. He paces around the ref, pleading his case while Meryasev waits in a neutral corner as both were instructed to do.

This is actually quite moving. It seems the ref and doctor want to stop it, but Rajapbaev keeps arguing that he's OK. They're on the fence and can't make up their minds.

You can tell this isn't how he wanted the W any more than Rajapbaev wanted the L this way. He seems disappointed.

You have to feel for both of them. They put on a heck of battle and then get deprived of a natural conclusion due to a subjective opinion on the state of Rajapbaev's face.

Glazkov is circling and jabbing down at Airich, wary of his straight right hand coming back. Airich just plods around him in baby steps, trying to line up a straight bomb and tuck his chin out of the way of Glazkov's jab. Double jab and a cross by Glazkov. Effective combo. Twice he's able to get Airich staggering back with it. A third time, the right hand comes crashing down on Airich's neck as he leans over. A brief scuffle at the bell, both getting in body shots.
