His punch resistance was horrible. Has to be attributed to the weight. Dawson may have just ruined his career.

Yeah, I agree. This fight somewhat reminded me of when Chris Byrd dropped down to light heavy to fight Shaun George, although Dawson's weight loss wasn't as dramatic.

    not in a million years.

Dawson was utterly dominated. Dawson was schooled like a Lacy against Calzaghe.

Nobody's disputing that, but the fact that he couldn't get off AT ALL and didn't take punches very well leads me to believe it was the weight. I hope it's not the beginning of the end for Chad.

I dont really go along with it.

He weighed 185 in the ring, thats his fighting weight at LHW.

It wasnt like ODLH in the Pacquiao fight where he was dead oin the scales and didnt rehydrate.

Also RJJ was much older when he started jumping around divisions.

No doubt it affected him some, but I think Ward dominates him at either weight. He may not knock him out at 175, but he probably takes eight or nine rounds.

It was enough that Miranda put him too sleep during sparring. No exact date was given but count back about a week before Miranda left for England and you will be close.

Dawson has no one to blame but himself. He agreed to the fight and thats what he gets.

Ward beats Dawson at any weight convincingly.
