I remember the horrible reffing in that fight. Hatton got lucky that time.

It's a shame he didn't stick around for the Khan fight.

    He'd execute that joker.

Froch should be on that level by now. If he had been with Fwank or Eddie from say 2007 (Even though Eddie wasn't anyone then) he'd have been not far from that level.

If i was to pick any one bar Carl to have a massive massive following, and providing they keep winning, Bellew will become huge. You watch!

The everyday type of man, the dedication, the love of football team, Bellew does seem to be alot like Hatton...dont think he'll reach the same level though

  6. Hatton got Floored by Tsyzu with a bodyshot and the ref called it a low blow and he had a touch that night as he did in the homecoming fight after Mayweather when his laces became undone in the ring when he was being put under alot of pressure and getting caught.

Yeah I like Bellew , but at this type of level Hatton was 22 and not 29. Also he was stopping guys like Miranda in 5 or 6 rounds without losing a second of any of the previous.

  8. Taking nothing away from him though he was a great fighter former ABA champion and two weight world champion and generated alot of interest in Boxing in this country, he also only lost to the two best in the world and i dont believe he ducked anyone at all and the witter fight would of went his way with ease.

Hatton had far more, I like Everton but it isnt Man City. Hatton was able to tap in the huge support. He would often be seemn back in the clubs of Ashton after fights, no VIP bars for him. Bellew is a funny fella, but Hatton was truly hilarious. A unique sportsman.

Hoping he is coming back tbh, would help make boxing more mainstream again.
