Watch Ward's fight against Edison Miranda. it was possibly one of his greatest performances. it'll let u know his versatility, slickness, handspeed, and style alot better. u clearly don't know what you are talking about. underestimating Ward like a mu****a.
I'll give him props either way but Im not scared to place the asterisk if Chad is noticably slow, tired, winded, and has a glass jaw. If Ward soft punching azz KO's him, then Im thinking its because of the draining, but I will still say "Good job you got the ko..with a drained fighter."
Dawson isn't Judah, Judah was never the undisputed champ in his division. And Dawson doesn't do the chicken dance.
I wouldn't be surprised if Floyd-Zab was the tape Andre watched to pick up tricks he can use for this fight. Ward has stated before that he watches Floyd tapes during training camps to look for things he can use in his upcoming fight
I bet he studies Floyd constantly. Every fight Ward gets better and he is constantly improving his game. He's one of the few gifted and smart enough to be able to work some of Floyd's moves, so why not study the best if you have the ability to implement some of his tricks? Ward's technical proficiency is pretty amazing to watch. If he continues to get better it will be interesting to see just how good he can be. He is going to run out of legitimate challenges soon though unless some serious new talent comes along.
It's not just the speed, Judah was calculated and let his lefts go at quite opportune times. When Floyd would drop the right a=hand and/or back up then Judah had a straight left ready for him. Hey, he gets his W's and is fighting anyone possible so he's getting the job done without looking "sexy like Sergio" lol.
