    Merchant comes out with some funny stuff but this comment is mildly amusing at best and in no way thread-worthy. Especially coming from someone that has never sparred a round in his life.

    Merchant is a breath of fresh air (OK, old, drunken air) is a world of yes-man announcers.

    He's old enough & wealthy enough to not give a ****, so he actually says what he feels.

    How the heck can you not love the guy?

    What's funny is, when Haye dropped out weeks before the first signed Wlad fight, with a "shadowboxing injury", Valuev was the first guy they made an offer to.
