Manager 10-15 percent, trainer/manager 25-30, trainer 10-15 percent promoter can get 15-25 percent when his boy is fighting on another promoters show and he negotiates the purse for his fighter.

 

That's a pretty big chunk considering the fighter is the one doing all the hard yards

 

That's the way it is. Most good trainers earn every cent. When you consider time in the gym at the track and watching tape a lot of trainers would get below award wage!! Managers that's another story.
