if this is so , and its done without dehydration , that seems like alot of muscle to shed , he looks a little flabby in recent pics so im guessing alot of lean body mass loss here ill cut to the point , ive been a personal trainer at golds gym before and when my clients cut weight in a manner in which jr seems to have done , it always really hurt their strength while on the other hand sergio looks deisel
You don't know how Chavez Jr. is cutting weight though. He doesn't look as chubby to me as he does sometimes we will see at the weigh-in though.
yes i agree , but you almost never gain strengh while on a cutting diet , its hard enough to maintain the muscle mass you have , then again i dont know the in depth tactics of boxing nutrition , maybe in a boxing sense he is getting faster and leaner
166 sounds fine to me. The weigh-in's not til Friday and 6 pounds is not too much to cut. He might have to skip the cheerios and Tecates on Friday morning but he should be okay.
Chavez will be straight for the weight. He'll make the weight and be the same fighter at 160 that he always is. Sergio will be probably beat on him and stop him in 9 or 10. Weight wise, this is normal for Chavez. Won't have to cut muscle, just water weight.
A little testosterone suspension along wth some hgh can fix that problem while dieting. You can even gain strength!!!
