Sergio Mora vs. Jermain Taylor, November 24th on WealthTV

If I recall, Mora turned this fight down years ago when Taylor was the champ and blew a big payday because of it.

Taylor would have won then and probably wins now but I wouldn't want to bet on it since Taylor is clearly in decline.

If Taylor wins I could see him being a back up plan(several slots down the list) for Martinez. Taylor would stand no chance but if Martinez doesn't get a Chavez rematch, Ward, Mayweather, or one of the top middleweights than Taylor could get the call if he gets by Mora.

 

I am the 1 who chose the draw. These days, these 2 are evenly matched.

 

Jermain could beat Martinez, if his chin weren't complete ****...I love JT and I appreciate all he's done, but sadly it's over for him. If he wants to fight...it's his right, but when I saw Truex drop him, I knew it was REALLY over. Best of luck Champ...I'll ride til the end.

 

Martinez would probably have to have a few other fights not come together before Taylor gets a shot, but both being with DiBella(I think) makes it a stronger possibility and a semi-reasonable sell.

I think Mora can stop Taylor. I think he has a good chance. I am a big fan of JT but this Taylor has a chin not much better than Amir Khan.

 

JT's stamina problems have never been fixed and they never will, and it's sad because he has great tools.

Yeah, I think even this version of JT will be enough to beat Mora, it'll probably be ugly but he'll get it done.

 

I wouldn't go that far...JT can still punch, I mean he did drop Pavlik and Froch who both have great chins.

 

Taylor is finished and should not be fighting. If he's going to fight, though, this is a good opponent for him. I won't watch, however.

 

War Taylor, KO the snake and finish him for good.
