Khan calls out Mathysse

He's making the fights fans want to see himself however he doesn't have the correct tools/fundamentals to deal with Lucas.

 

He did a good job of it early in there fight which was what I meant. Also LM seems to like to be set to throw his shots unlike Maidana who throws from odds angles and even throws himself off balance........

Also "box" is a bad word to use..... I meant run around and jump in with a flurry every now and again.

 

The fact that Matthysse throws straighter shots is what could help Khan actually. Maidana loops hits shots. It was a looping right that got Khan in trouble in the 10th. Khan just can't do anything about those type of punches, apparently. But Matthysse would have to get good at doing it really quick to take advantage.

I hope to god someone sits Amir down and tries to reason with him. This fight is suicide for him.

If Amir's serious and Lucaz is interested in getting rich and famous, Lucaz will be down.

Khan wins me back over if he fights and beats Lucas but I really can't see him getting in with Lucas now, this was saving face IMO, he ducked the Maidana fight for as long as he could, jumping in with Lucas after his glass neck got cracked would be suicide no?

 

Lucas is the baddest man in the division, by far. If Khan fought him it would be a big statement. I don't think he will though, atleast not now.

Amir is confident about beating anyone at 140, Lucas has called out Amir before the Soto fight. Now the tables have turned somewhat let's see if Matthysse really wants that fight. The December date is feasible.
People say Judah was a robbery but even if it was, robberies have to be somewhat close. Khan beat Judah easily.For me Khan never lost to Peterson and only has two loses.
And people are starting to talk about the Maidana fight as if Khan had lost that too.
Its a good fight, and if Khan can return to his classic stick and move style I think he can do Matthysse. All he needs to do is keep his hands up, throw his 1,1,2 get out, repeat.
