I hope Ricky's comeback opponent is carefully chosen. Ricky has always been an exciting fighter to watch for so many years. Watching him being knocked out at first was funny but then upsetting.

I don't know why he wants to return... Hatton Promotions is doing good bussiness...

I'd rather he didnt, unless he needs the money. Itll end badly IMO, after a convincing victory against a journeyman followed by biting off more than he can chew and getting knocked out violently again.Unless it's all geared up towards a fight against Khan, not sure he could knock Ricky out.

I reckon there's something in the rumours about coming back to get HP back on TV mate.
He always missed the thrill and I think Sky pulling the plug has forced his hand.
Never has a British boxer been on the end of so much goodwill so the fact so many people are against it should tell a story.Much as I think he was a limited boxer(compared to his early style) he made it go a long way.The general consensus was always that he didn't have many of the same attributes at welter that served him so well at 140.

I think a 38 or 40 year old Ricky who's been out for any number of years would always be a stylistic holocaust for Khan.

I mean nearly every style is a nightmare for Khan at World Class level. We have to accept that Khan just isn't that good and on top of that he hasn't shown major improvements since the Marcos fight.

It's a sad thing that UK Media/ TV Networks/ Other Promoters aren't supporting Ricky. Maybe he needs more/new talent in the roster? If you take Matchroom as a comparison; they only have Froch, Brook and McCloskey to boast of. Tbh I think Froch is carrying Eddie's entire company on his shoulder's cos I know Eddie doesn't know how to make competitive fights like GBP.

I remember Ricky and Barrera seemed to be good mates.MAB seems to be at a loose end these days and has no problems coming to the UK.Maybe Ricky could try and get him onboard at HP.Maybe even see if he's got any prospects at his gym in Mexico.
Have to admit, people would take notice if they got together.

  7. Hatton vs Morales anyone?

I know Garcia is fighting Morales. Whether Morales wins or lose, Hatton vs Morales is a fight I'd ****in pay to watch.
