The sanctioning bodies do nothing. I subscribe, Wladimir could be stripped. He met no real top 10 opponent in his last 3 fights (including Wach). Thomson actually is 10th but sucks.
I think the same, that's why I ranked Pulev and especially Helenius lower. But they are boxers with qualities. I forgot of Price, add Povetkin too.
I'm not a K2 hater but if the sanctioning bodies will do nothing, I will stop watching this **** division. And right now it could be a pretty attractive category. Imagine Seth Mitchell vs Wladimir in the US.
I'm not saying all of the mentioned fighters do it, but any Heavyweight that says they want to fight the Klits gets attention, that's the only reason they do it. When it comes to actually making a fight with either of them **** all happens.

After Mitchell beat Witherspoon last April, Delahoya said that they will not be pressured by the fans or media to put Seth in with a Klitschko too early. Understandable. Seth will be fighting Jonathan Banks on HBO Nov. 3. Povetkin has twice been in serious negotiations to fight Wladimir, only to pull out both times due to "injury". The second time though, his own trainer Teddy Atlas confirmed that they just didnt feel he was ready to fight Wlad. Povetkin now claims he is very interested in fighting Wladimir next year. They avoid no one. Vitali might decide to avoid Haye, but if that happens it's not on him, as Haye had his chance to fight Vitali and fought SNV instead. Vitali is 41 and doesn't need to risk his legacy against Haye. Fury will not fight the Klitschkoes until maybe 2014. Same for Mitchell (who will most likely lose to someone else in the interim). If Mitchell gets past Banks, I expect him to face Adamek or Arreola before trying his luck against a Klitschko. Povetkin will probably fight Wlad next Spring....even if Povetkin has no chance he will do it for the money. As WBA mandatory and a good draw he's looking at a 20-25% purse...several million dollars potentially. 2013 might be a 'legacy' year for Wlad...Povetkin in the Spring, Pulev/Ustinov winner in the summer, and maybe Helenius or Fury or Haye later in the year.
