it didn't, but that was their intention. And Pac making weight is irrelevant. We're talking about them dragging Marquez up from lightweight

They didnt drag Marquez up Marquez requested the fight and got it... and everybody who knows boxing knows its easier to move up than it is to move down

"That wasnt a catch weight..... DLH moved down just like Dawson did to face ward... Besides if it wasnt a fight with Pac DLH planned to move down and rematch Floyd at 147 No ***** had a problem with that...
They only have a problem when its pacquiao doing that..... "

obviously de la hoya at 147 wasnt a catchweight which is why i put lol at the end, and no ***** had a problem with it is because it never happened

Pac fans getting on Cotto for turning down 7.5 million cause he does not want to be weight drained again, but have all the excuses in the world for Manny to turn down $40,000,000

He's a "G" for turning down 7.5 million? Ahhhh ok... :rofl

He's scared shitless.. He knows what time it is... Pac hurt him really bad last time.. Cotto would rather fight Mr. Feathers again!

Cotto will make more money with a combined Trout then Canelo route than a one time, weight drained rematch against Pac.

He sacrificed himself once. No need to do it again.

After Pac destroyed him last time, obviously Cotto declined the fight. How much punishment can he take? Cotto would rather fight PBF for the second time.

you have to be rational. of course we don't care how much money a fighter makes, but a fighter will never think that way and we can't blame him. money is important to every fighter in boxing, so as fans we have to take money into consideration before blaming someone for a fight not happening.

Cotto turns down a fight for less money than he received from his last fight where he is expected to drain himself = he's a *****.

Manny turns down a $40m career high payday for no apparent reason = he's awesome.

I think the rematch at 154 would be a more competitive fight....At 145 Cotto got the business. He should want to avenge that loss and $7.5 guaranteed is solid. Maybe PAC wanted the fight to be at a catch weight and Cotto bulked...either way PAC vs Cotto 2 is the fight I'd like to see over a 4th fight with JMM or another mis-match with Tim.
