Who do the Aussie ESB'ers want Geale to face next?

3 years ago the vast majority of people wanted to see a rematch between Anthony Mundine and Daniel Geale, and the only people who didn't want it were Mundine supporters.

Now, with Geale a dual titleholder, the vast majority of people don't want to see a rematch. The overwhelming choice now is instead Sergio Martinez, who won this poll easily with 25 votes.

The poll also shows only 1 in 5 actually want to see a Geale vs Mundine rematch, and it's a pretty safe bet the 15 people who voted for the rematch would all be Mundine supporters.

Freddie "crispy" roach has said on the scene that he expects JCC jr to move up to face Ward should he win this weekend and does not see the point in a Geale fight.

Even more of a reason to root for Sergio :happy

Geale wants Chavez jr v Martinez winner next.

Seems as though Golovkin does too and his KO power is more fan friendly this writer thinks. Hopefully the extra belt Geale offers appeals to the winner or Golovkins KO power makes them think Geale is the safer option and they go with Daniel. If neither gets it Geale has to face Golovkin by Dec 31.

So the real interest in a Geale vs Mundine rematch is virtually zero

    Martinez: 26
    Mundine: 15
    Chavez: 13
    Golovkin: 11

and according to an earlier post Mundine's 15 is probably only 5

Should always have a plan "B" :good

But clearly what people voted for (34% more than a third of the vote) and want to see is Daniel Geale vs Sergio Martinez :good

If only boxing worked like that hey.

I think Geale has a good chance of getting a martinez fight, Golovkin is too much risk compared to reward, no titles etc....
