What a fraud this guy is. Boxrec recognises 6 of his alleged wins. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=202587&cat=boxer This is the most recent of them - what a blatant dive. [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKoZPaKs7iU[/ame] Here he is hyping himself up: http://www.indiannewslink.co.nz/ind..._1_2012/pugilist-awaits-challenging-bout.html Found this on the Boxrec forum: http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=151755&start=25 How are guys allowed to get away with **** like this? There are other fake boxers around as well, may post some more about them later on, including one who is actually world ranked. :-(
Anyway here is an even bigger scandal. This is a ****ing joke. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=536325&cat=boxer Look at the ridiculous number of fights he's had in a short space of time. Look at the encyclopedia entries, the posters that look like they've been made by a 5 year old on Paint and the falsified punch stats. Note how nothing can be found of him on Youtube etc. He's ranked #15 by the WBA, god help us if he gets a title shot.
Must be some pretty good puncher and just search guys with winning records that didn't show much defence.
I know - those fights are all very dodgy KO1 wins. He, however, claims he is 27-0 when he talks to the media. He also claims that he is in talks to have big fights against the likes of Holyfield and that he is talking to big promoters, but it's all BS. The guy is a total fraud and would get destroyed in a legit fight against an actual boxer.
It looks like this guy actually had a fairly distinguished amateur career, assuming it's real at all. If he's legitimate, it would be annoying that he's stayed on a very weak local circuit, but I'd be interested to see if he could actually take a step up. That said, after poking around some more, I've seen a number of allegations that half or more of this guy's "fights" never actually took place at all, and I'm having trouble finding evidence that the places where he's supposedly fought even exist. I have to imagine that his fights sanctioned by the WBA at least actually took place. Boxrec claims his record is fully verified, but I'm not sure I can trust it. I mean, they're claiming he headlined and that they have punch stats for his first pro fight? Sure seems sketchy to me too. http://boxrec.com/media/index.php?title=Fight:1513727 - for pro debut - last edit date was in May 2012 This referee, Paulo Henrique, it looks like half the fights he's ever refereed were for this guy's fights. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=465049&cat=referee A newspaper article on page 2 of this one is the only evidence I can find that the dude even actually exists outside of the internet. http://issuu.com/gazetapenhense/docs/2069 All just seems really far off.
