pac's camp thinks 150 is a better concession since pac is a WW now while cotto is a JMW. cotto is not known to be a big JMW. he even demanded a 150 catchweight against margarito not too long ago. so if cotto thinks 150 is fine against margarito, why is it not fine against pacquiao?

The reason Cotto asked for a catchweight against Margarito is that he wanted an advantage over him, I'm guessing he thought the damage making 150 would be less to him than Margo.

lol @ the handbags in this thread. Is it not possible for there to be a mutual consensus that the fight hasn't materialized due to it not being in the interest of BOTH parties? It's not because either of them are scared. Pac doesn't want to go higher than 150, Cotto doesn't want to go lower than 154 (at least, not against Pac). It's a perfectly reasonable excuse from either camp, simple as....

Cotto was shot when he faced PAC forsure. He was un-shot and good when he fought Floyd.

 

Why did pac want to fight cotto again right after mayweather just finished fighting him? Why did he also want another catchweight against a guy he easily beat before?
