I read that immediately after the Dawson fight, Joe stated that he would have beaten Ward because he would have been too fast and strong?

So then Ward's team replied that if they are gonna talk bad about Ward he should prove it, and Joe said that he would rather not and Ward only said that for publicity lol.

He's not ready for a Ward caliber type fighter with youth on his side. The hypejob is just bitter that the real deal already surpassed his legacy.
