    Hello,

please share some info you know preferably with a source about religious beliefs of boxers in the past, what they used to say about it and do. I need more examples for statistics so to speak.
I know Ali, Foreman, Manny Pacquiao obviously...

    Thanks!

Tyson was a baptised Christian just before the **** scandal, then he was a muslim after prison.

Foreman became a born again Christian after the Young fight.

Ali was a member of the Nation of Islam for a lot of his career, then he joined mainstream Islam

Holyfield, Frazier were both pretty religious Christians, as is Pacqiauo, Bradley and Andre Ward

Hamed was a muslim, Bhop is a muslim, Amir Khan is muslim

Don King worships money 5 times a day.

Earnie Shavers became an evangelist preacher also. But, Valuevianism is the most important religion-pugilist connection of which I am aware.

What's the context? The question posed is like asking for anecdotes about religious mailmen or doctors. Some believe, some don't. Not much of an answer either way, wouldn't you agree?

What exactly are you looking for?

Well, like I said I am making a survey, correlate the success / failures in the ring/life with beliefs for the start.

Thanks to everybody for the feedback!
