    Initial skepticism was warranted. I think there was enough substance rather early on though to start to give it at least some credence.

    I would agree, however I already believed the story when Boxing Insider first posted it. The post seemed genuine, plus what would be his motivation for making something like this up. Some random person would stand to gain nothing from such a story.

    Wow.. I just saw that on youtube. I am kind of surprised Diaz told the truth. Sounds like he down played it a little bit more than what has been said. Bottom line is there is all the 'proof' any doubters need.

    I recently heard a radio interview with Scully about the fight. When asked about what happened he completely denied it. Even sounded a little upset about it wanting to know 'who' started the rumor and would like to see him face to face. Scully may not be too happy with Diaz. Oh well, who the **** is John Scully anyway. Should have never brought Chad down to a weight he couldn't effectively fight at.

    I asked Virgil Hunter about this earlier today in an interview.

    I'll post the link to my interview in a few hours when I finish transcribing.

    Overall, I thought Virgil had many interesting things to say (and I don't mean just about this rumored incident).
